Who is responsible

FCClub.gg is a free, fan-made stats tracker and build tool for EA SPORTS FC Clubs, run by one independent developer in Italy. Under the GDPR, the data controller is Redazione FCClub.gg, reachable on Discord at https://discord.com/invite/emthrm37fY or at [email protected]. This policy covers fcclub.gg and its subdomains.

What we collect

Most of the site works without an account. What we process:

  • Account data (only if you sign in with Google or Discord): display name, email address, profile picture URL, your ID at that provider and the OAuth tokens needed for sign-in. We never see your password.
  • Content you create: saved Virtual Pro builds and the clubs, players and builds you follow. Saved builds appear in a public gallery, with your account display name shown as the author.
  • Technical data: server access logs (IP address, URL, time, user agent) and error reports when a page breaks (see below).
  • Analytics and advertising data, only with your consent (see below).
  • Public game data from EA's Clubs API (see below).

Legal bases (Article 6 GDPR)

  • Account features (sign-in, saved builds, follows): performance of the contract you enter by creating an account, Art. 6(1)(b).
  • Security, abuse prevention and debugging (logs, rate limiting, error reports): our legitimate interest in keeping the service running and safe, Art. 6(1)(f).
  • Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a), given in the consent message.
  • Answering your requests: Art. 6(1)(c) and (f).

Cookies and consent

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland consent is collected by Google's consent management platform, certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (CMP ID 300), which stores your choice in the FCCDCF cookie. Everywhere else it is collected by our own banner, which stores it in fc_consent.

Strictly necessary, set without consent: the sign-in session cookie (authjs.session-token, only when signed in), NEXT_LOCALE (your chosen language, one year) and the cookie holding your consent choice (FCCDCF or fc_consent). Only after you agree: the Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_*, and Google advertising cookies.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the Privacy and cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the consent message; withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.

Google Analytics 4

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (property G-TW62JK0QSV, by Google Ireland Limited) to see which pages are visited. It collects page views, approximate location from a truncated IP address, device and browser information, and referrer; Google acts as our processor, may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and keeps user-level data up to 14 months. Google AdSense

To keep the site free we show ads through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure them.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, ads are shown according to your choice in the consent message: personalised ads if you consent, otherwise non-personalised ads, which still use general location and page content to select ads and limit frequency.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in Google's Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, https://www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Error reporting

When something breaks in your browser, a script sends a report to an error collection service at errors.tomdapp.uk, operated by a third party on our behalf. It contains the page URL, browser and device information, the error message and stack trace, and the time, but not your name, email or account content.

Hosting, logs and Cloudflare

The site and its database run on a virtual private server in the European Union behind a Caddy reverse proxy, whose access logs (IP address, URL, time, user agent) are used for security and kept only briefly. Traffic passes through Cloudflare (CDN and protection layer), which processes IP addresses and connection metadata under its own privacy policy. Links to Discord, Buy Me a Coffee and EA lead to services we do not operate, with their own privacy policies.

EA game data

Club names, crests, player gamertags, statistics and match results come from EA's public Clubs API at proclubs.ea.com, the same data visible in the game. FCClub.gg is not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts, and we store nothing about players beyond what EA publishes.

If you would rather not have your gamertag shown on FCClub.gg, contact us via Discord or at [email protected] with your gamertag, platform and club and we will remove it from public pages as far as technically possible. It will remain visible in the game and on EA's services.

Retention

  • Account data, builds and follows: until you ask us to delete your account, which removes everything tied to it.
  • Server logs: a short period, no more than 30 days. Error reports: until fixed, at most a few months.
  • Analytics data: per the Google Analytics retention above. Backups: seven days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, rectify, erase or receive a portable copy of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us via Discord or at [email protected]; we will verify that you control the account and answer within one month.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority: for the controller's jurisdiction, the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or the authority of the EU country where you live.

Children

FCClub.gg is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data; if a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
