Which Platforms Have Clubs in FC 27? Pro Clubs by Platform

Updated September 16, 2026

FC 27 releases on seven platforms, but Clubs is not on all of them. EA's own footnote, repeated across its FC 27 pages, reads: "The Grounds mode, including Clubs, only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 versions." On PS4, Xbox One and the original Nintendo Switch the game exists, but The Grounds and the Clubs inside it do not.

This page is for anyone deciding whether their club survives the move. It states what EA has confirmed about platforms, what it has not said about cross-play and Switch 2, what a club on old hardware needs to do, and how FCClub.gg tells platforms apart in EA's data.

The four platforms that get Clubs

Clubs in FC 27 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. All four get the full Grounds experience: The Terrace, the three districts, The Clubhouse where Clubs lives, Leagues and Playoffs, Clubs Live Tournaments and the small-sided formats.

It is worth being precise about the wording. EA lists The Grounds as the mode and Clubs as something inside it. So the platform restriction sits on The Grounds as a whole, and Clubs inherits it. There is no version of FC 27 that has Clubs without The Grounds, and no version that has The Grounds without Clubs.

PS4, Xbox One and Switch 1: the game, but no Clubs

FC 27 still releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the original Nintendo Switch. What those versions do not contain is The Grounds, and therefore Clubs. EA's footnote is the only statement on this and it is unambiguous: not a reduced Clubs, not Clubs without the social world, none.

This is the sharpest change in FC 27 for the Clubs community, and it sits in a footnote rather than a headline. If your club has been playing on last-gen hardware, 25 September 2026 is the day new Clubs data stops being generated on those platforms. Your FC 26 record does not vanish, but it does not continue either.

Cross-play in FC 27 Clubs: what is and is not confirmed

In FC 26, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S clubs already played in a shared pool, and EA's public Clubs API served that pool under a single platform value.

For FC 27 itself, the EA material we rely on (The Grounds and Clubs Deep Dive, the Launch Update and the platform footnote) does not contain a cross-play statement for Clubs or The Grounds. What we can say is that the closed beta in August ran The Grounds on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 but not on PS5, and EA framed that as a beta limitation, not a rule for the final game. Whether a PS5 club can face a Switch 2 club or a PC club is a question we expect to answer from the data during early access.

Nintendo Switch 2: in, with one open question

Nintendo Switch 2 is on EA's list of Grounds platforms, and it was part of the August closed beta for The Grounds. Beyond that, the EA material we work from says nothing Switch 2 specific: no performance figures and no note on features that differ from the other platforms.

There is one practical unknown that matters for a stats site. EA's Clubs API identifies the original Switch with its own platform value, and as of today there is no known value for Switch 2. The obvious candidates do not answer yet. Whether Switch 2 clubs appear under the Switch value, under the PS5 and Xbox pool, or under something new is the first thing we will check when FC 27 data starts flowing.

What a club on old-gen hardware needs to do

If your club's members are on PS4, Xbox One or Switch 1, there is no setting that keeps Clubs going in FC 27. Each of those members needs a PS5, an Xbox Series X|S, a PC or a Switch 2 to keep playing Clubs, and the club needs to exist on a platform pool those members share.

Two things follow. First, EA's material does not describe any transfer of a club from FC 26 to FC 27, so plan for a new club on the new hardware rather than a carried-over one. Second, choose the platform as a group. A club split across platforms only works if those platforms share a pool, and for FC 27 that is exactly the part EA has not confirmed. Decide together before launch.

How FCClub.gg identifies platforms

Everything on FCClub.gg comes from EA's public Clubs API, and every request to that API carries a platform value. The values we use are common-gen5 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S pool, common-gen4 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and nx for Nintendo Switch. The site's club and leaderboard pages query common-gen5 by default.

For FC 27, common-gen4 will keep answering with FC 26 history but will not receive new Clubs matches. common-gen5 and nx continue. Where PC clubs and Switch 2 clubs land is not yet known from the API, and we will add a platform to the site's selector the day we see one answer. The season selector shows FC 27 as soon as the first FC 27 row arrives, with FC 26 still readable.

FAQ

Can I play Clubs on PS4 in FC 27?

No. EA's footnote limits The Grounds, including Clubs, to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. FC 27 still releases on PS4, but that version has no Grounds and no Clubs, and the same applies to Xbox One and the original Nintendo Switch.

Is FC 27 Clubs cross-platform?

Not confirmed. The EA material for FC 27 that we rely on does not contain a cross-play statement for Clubs or The Grounds. In FC 26, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S clubs shared one pool in EA's data. We will report what the FC 27 data shows during early access.

Is Clubs on Nintendo Switch 2?

Yes. Nintendo Switch 2 is one of the four platforms EA lists for The Grounds, including Clubs, and it was part of the August closed beta for The Grounds. EA has not published any Switch 2 specific details beyond that footnote and the beta.

Is The Grounds on PC?

Yes. PC is one of the four platforms EA names for The Grounds, including Clubs, alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. PC was also one of the platforms in the closed beta that ran The Grounds in August 2026.

Do I lose my FC 26 club on old-gen?

Your FC 26 record is not deleted, and on FCClub.gg it stays readable through the season selector for as long as we hold the data. What ends is new activity: after FC 27 launches there is no Clubs on PS4, Xbox One or Switch 1, so no new matches are recorded on those platforms.
